Dr. Robert (Bob) L. McIntosh is Board Certified with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, and Rehabilitation. He is a Native of NE Wyoming and loves calling Spearfish his home. He attended BHSU in Spearfish for his undergraduate degree in Biology, prior to that he completed Diesel School to become a mechanic. Little did he know he would become a spine mechanic.  After his bachelor’s degree he attended Western States Chiropractic College (now University of Western States) in NE Portland, OR. During his time in school Dr. McIntosh was appointed as the occupational safety program developer where he implemented back safety programs within many Portland businesses like Pepsi, UPS, Miller Paint Company, and Waxie Bathroom Supply. He also is registered with OSHA to become a workplace safety instructor.

Locally, Dr. McIntosh assists in teaching Anatomy in the new laboratories at BHSU. He is also the President of Spearfish Canyon Connections, a chapter of Business Network International (BNI) which is a group of business owners that hold each other accountable for offering great services so they can have the confidence to refer friends and family to reliable businesses.

Dr. McIntosh is happily married to Jenny McIntosh, R.N. and they have been together for over 10 years. In 2009 the McIntosh’s introduced Hayley (their daughter) to the world and they truly enjoy watching her grow and learn new tasks each day.  They also look forward to a growing family soon. Last but not least is their dog who is a Peagle named Bailey. Yes, that’s right, Hayley and Bailey.

Dr. McIntosh enjoys gardening, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. Dr. Bob aspires to have a healthy family of 4-6 and to someday rebuild the bright red 1969 AMX that his father gave him.

 Thank you for visiting ALC’s website.  Let me take a moment to tell you about myself.  My name is Dr. Matt Arnio.  I was born and raised in Spearfish, SD.  After graduating Spearfish High School, I attended Black Hills State University where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology.  Soon after college, I entered Northwestern Health Sciences in Bloomington, MN.  In 2009, I graduated with my Doctorate of Chiropractic.  From 2009 to 2011, I practiced near Madison, WI.  In The summer of 2011, Dr. McIntosh convinced me to come back to the area and I’m very excited to have the opportunity to treat patients in the Spearfish and Gillette areas.

In my spare time I enjoy many outdoor activities, working out, and spending time with family, friends, my girlfriend, Erin, and my boxer “Brady”.
